Pin the window you keep coming back to.
Give a research window, project document, or conversation its own temporary shortcut. Choose the Focused window target to jump straight back to that exact window, even when it is minimized.

Keep a window out of the way without losing access to it. Include minimized windows in an app’s cycle and HyperSwitcher restores the one you select. Choose the behavior separately for each app.

Use Follow pointer to stay with reachable windows on the display under your mouse. Choose Cycle all windows when you want to reach the app’s windows across displays.

Start with the window or app you reach for most.
Give the app a shortcut
After installing HyperSwitcher and allowing Accessibility access, choose your Hyper key. In Settings → Apps, assign a letter to the app: S for Safari, for example.
Choose which windows to cycle
In Settings → General, choose a Window switching mode. Follow pointer prefers reachable windows on the display under your mouse. Cycle all windows removes that display filter.
Press once, then press again
From another app, hold Hyper and press S to focus Safari. Press S again to cycle its eligible windows. You can keep Hyper held between presses or repeat the full shortcut.
A few useful details.
Does this switch browser tabs too?
No. This gesture switches windows. Tabs inside a browser or editor keep that app’s own tab-switching shortcuts.
Why does pressing the shortcut again stay on one window?
Check that the app has more than one eligible window and Window switching is enabled. In Follow pointer mode, windows on another display may be excluded. Try Cycle all windows or move your pointer to the intended display.
What about minimized windows, Spaces, and full screen?
Minimized windows can be included and restored when selected, according to the app’s shortcut settings. Windows on other Spaces or in full screen are best effort because macOS can limit access. Visit the Space and focus the window once if it is not reachable.
Try it with your own windows.
Download HyperSwitcher and set up your first shortcut.
