Terms of Service
Last updated June 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of HyperSwitcher, including the website, downloads, purchases, licenses, support, and Mac app.
HyperSwitcher is operated by Dennis Müller. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Accepting these Terms
By visiting the website, downloading HyperSwitcher, purchasing or activating a license, contacting support, or using the Mac app, you agree to these Terms.
If you use HyperSwitcher on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. The Services
In these Terms, “Services” means:
- the HyperSwitcher website at hyperswitcher.app
- HyperSwitcher downloads, updates, and release notes
- the HyperSwitcher Mac app
- purchase, licensing, activation, and support flows related to HyperSwitcher
3. Your license to use HyperSwitcher
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use HyperSwitcher for your own personal or internal business use.
You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law allows it
- share, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer a paid license unless the license terms expressly allow it
- use HyperSwitcher to interfere with another person's device, account, data, or service
- bypass license checks, security controls, usage limits, or technical restrictions
- use the Services in a way that violates law or infringes another person's rights
Rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Dennis Müller and the applicable rights holders.
4. Purchases, taxes, and refunds
- Prices, features, taxes, and payment terms are shown at checkout or on the pricing page before purchase.
- A payment, licensing, or merchant-of-record provider may process payment details, taxes, invoices, refunds, and license delivery.
- Refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks may be handled through that provider and are subject to the policy shown at checkout, your statutory rights, and applicable law.
- If a paid license or feature is offered, it may require a valid license key, accountless activation flow, or other proof of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use HyperSwitcher. You agree to:
- provide accurate contact, billing, and support information when requested
- keep license keys, download links, and purchase records secure
- install updates from trusted HyperSwitcher sources
- maintain backups and device security appropriate for your own workflow
- use HyperSwitcher only on devices and systems where you are allowed to install and operate it
6. macOS permissions and device access
HyperSwitcher may require macOS permissions, such as Accessibility access, to switch apps, inspect windows, focus windows, and arrange layouts. You control these permissions in macOS System Settings.
HyperSwitcher is designed for local Mac workflows. You are responsible for deciding whether the app is suitable for the devices, accounts, accessibility settings, and work environments where you install it.
7. Support and communications
If you contact support, you are responsible for the information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, private keys, sensitive personal information, or confidential business data unless specifically requested through a suitable support channel.
Support responses, documentation, and product information are provided for practical guidance and may change as HyperSwitcher changes.
8. Third-party services
HyperSwitcher may depend on or link to third-party services, including:
- hosting and download infrastructure
- payment, licensing, tax, and checkout providers
- email, support, and analytics providers
- macOS, Apple services, and other operating-system features that HyperSwitcher interacts with
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9. Intellectual property
HyperSwitcher, the website, app design, text, graphics, logos, icons, code, documentation, and other materials are owned by Dennis Müller or licensed from their respective rights holders. You may not use HyperSwitcher branding or materials in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without permission.
10. Updates and availability
HyperSwitcher may change over time. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed. Updates may be required to keep using certain features, receive support, or maintain compatibility with macOS changes.
We aim to keep the website, downloads, and app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not make warranties that HyperSwitcher will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every Mac, suitable for every workflow, or free from harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dennis Müller will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not allowed by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using HyperSwitcher at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, use the Services unlawfully, or create risk for HyperSwitcher, other users, or third-party services.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and payment obligations incurred before termination.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when HyperSwitcher, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
